EVENT PARKING

GENERAL EVENT PARKING INFORMATION: The Steinberg's Rink Parking Lot will be closed for this event! This lot will be used for emergency access and event supply ONLY. Because of this, we have secured parking at St. Louis Community College at Forest Park for riders and guests. There is a walking/riding tunnel under the new I-64 just east of the Science Center. To avoid frustration and/or being late for your start, we recommend arriving at St. Louis Community College 30-45 minutes before your distance start time. This will give you plenty of time to grab some food, visit the Bike/Fitness Village and find friends you will be riding with prior to your start.

Of course, (you're thinking): "Parking on Forest Park streets is always available on a first come, first served basis. I'll just find a spot in the park." Not so fast... PLEASE NOTE: There are several other events in the park on this Saturday and we have been told that parking on the park streets will be very difficult to find. Given the multiple events in Forest Park on the event day, RMHC respectfully requests that all riders and guests please no park within Forest Park grounds and use one of the designated parking lots off of Forest Park grounds for this event. This will provide maximum safety for cyclists, pedestrians and vehicle traffic.

RMHC expects that St. Louis Community College at Forest Park will be sufficient for all registered riders to park. However, it the St. Louis Community College lot is full by the time you arrive, there will be RMHC volunteers directing you to other alternate parking that are all within the same distance of Steinberg's Rink.

EVENT PARKING ACCESS ROUTES: The easiest and most direct access to event parking will be via the I-64/US-40 Kingshighway exit from either the West bound or East bound directions. There will be plenty of signage and RMHC volunteers to ensure you get smooth and quick access to the designated parking areas. From the exit, you proceed South to Oakland and then West on Oakland and then follow the parking signs and RMHC volunteers directions.

SPECIAL PARKING ACCESS/DROP-OFF: There will be special access/handicap parking and drop-off available for those needing closer access to the Start/Finish. Please contact the RMHC Committee to request a dash pass for access to this drop-off area. Notifying us in advance will ensure that there is adequate space for those with special needs.
